Shri. (Dr.) Shankararama Sharma is an enthusiast of technology, Sanskrit, Vedanta, and also outdoor sports. He embodies both modern technology and tradition.
Currently he is pursuing his PhD at IISc, Bangalore, specializing in Applications of AI in Healthcare. He has interned at IIT-Guwahati and National Instruments and also collaborated with UCL, London to build AI models for NMR signal processing.
He is serving as a Techno-linguistic scholar at Vyoma Linguistic Labs contributing immensely not only to the courses' content (in both Sanskrit and English) but also helping to include technology in every aspect of the Vyomans' daily activities. He has delivered many guest lectures at various institutions on AI and mathematics.
His mother started teaching him the Bhagavad Gita and other stotras when he was four years old, sparking his interest in Sanskrit. Under the guidance of his maternal grandfather, Mahamahopadhyaya Dr. Krishnamurthi Sastrigal, he graduated from Karnataka Sanskrit University in Karnataka, India, with a master's degree in Advaita Vedanta. He pursued the adhyayana of the Krishna Yajur Veda under the tutelage of his paternal grandfather, Sri Ramalinga Sarma.
His spiritual journey includes conducting Ramayana Navahams, Bhagavata Saptahams, and Vedanta discourses across India and the US. The esteemed Jagadgurus of Sringeri and Kanchi have bestowed their blessings upon him.
